Ramona Emily Fox, daughter of Clarence L. and Gold M. (Thomas) Hall, was born on Sept. 23, 1909 at Winfield, KS. Her death occurred on Sept. 21 at St. Francis Medical Center, Wichita, after several hears of failing health. Her age was 84 years, 11 months, and 28 days.
Ramona lived her early life in the Winfield community, received her basic education in the local schools and on Aug. 6, 1933 was united in marriage to Lawrence W. Fox at Winfield. to this union was born two children: Mary Lou and Tom.
For several years the family made their home in the El Dorado, KS area, and was a resident of Russell since 1946. They lived in the Pioneer area south of Bunker Hill and in Russell. Ramona occupied her life with the activities of a homemaker, housewife, and mother, enjoying her children and in later years her grandchildren.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Hope Circle of the Church, Friendly Neighbors EHU, and the Pioneer Belles all of Russell.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors: husband, Lawrence W. of Russell; son, Tom of San Diego; daughter, Mary Lou Warren of Gt. Bend; 5 grandchildren and 6 gt. grandchildren; three sisters: Frances Mortimer of Conroe, TX; Clarice Radley of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and Oma Lou Beattie of Emporia, KS;
