Eva L. (Rouse) Catt, 87, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of Greenwood and a former resident of Indiana-polis.

She was born Sept. 1, 1912, in Shelby County. Her parents were Clarence and Rhoda (Worrell) Rouse. She married Ralph Catt on Feb. 17, 1962, in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death June 24, 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Haskett of New Palestine; four sisters, Lina Rich of Clifford, Ruby Hargrove of Fairlane, Leona Purcell of Milan and Lillian Theabald of Shelbyville; a brother, Robert Rouse of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Emrick; and a brother, Max Rouse.

She was employed by Zayres Department Store as a cashier for 7½ years, retiring in 1973.

She was a member of Clifford United Methodist Church.

A service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at G.H. Herr-mann Madison Avenue Chapel. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
