Raymond F. Diener, Sr, retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant, died Tuesday, June 12, 1984 at a Mobile hospital following a lengthy illness. Ray was born on May 12, 1911 in Lombard, IL.

Ray has been a resident of Mobile for the past 8 years. He was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, American Legion Post #76, AARP and was a former member of the Parkhill Men's Golf Association. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife Adelaide Kling Diener of Mobile; son Raymond Jr of Cottage Grove, WI; sisters Louise Marshall of Dixon, IL and Sally Dale of Green Bay, WI; brothers H William Diener of Elmhurst, IL and James Diener of Hoffman Estates, IL and many other relatives.

Interment with full military honors at Pine Crest Cemetery.
