He was born in Pittston on August 20, 1914. He was a son of the late Thomas Allardyce and Mary McHale. He was a graduate of Pittston High School, class of 1932, and a life resident of Pittston. He worked as a signalman for the Lehigh Valley Railroad and was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Pittston. Surviving are his spouse, Louise Flynn Allardyce, at home; daughter, Alyce Allardyce, Pittston; five grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He has several nieces and nephews surviving. Preceding him in death are two daughters, Mary Louise Lefler and Bonnie Rose Koscelansky; brothers, John, Thomas and James Allardyce; and two sisters, Mary Allardyce and Alice Ayers. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 700 Township Blvd., Pittston Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Pittston. Interment will be at St. John the Evangelist cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
