Daughter of Carl and Teckla (Peterson) Waller. She married LeRoy Bass in Ridgeport on Feb 26, 1925. She was a homemaker, and for a number of years was a cook at the Stratford School. Later whe was employed at the Ellsworth turkey plant. Her husband died in 1971 and in 1979 she moved to Dumont.
She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Lois DeFrain of Edina, Minn. and Annabelle and Bob Oitzman of Dumont; sons and daughter-in-law, Sidney Bass and Richard and Lois Bass of Fort Dodge; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
