Debby Davis, 58, of Denton, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010, at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.She was born October 13, 1952, in McKinney, Texas to Price and Altha Lee (Walker) Stark.
She married John Davis on August 13, 1971 in Frisco, Texas.
Debby was a teacher for 25 years at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School, was a member of the Denton Poets' Assembly and was a longtime member of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Denton.
She is survived by her husband, John of Denton; brother Terry Stark of Denton; son, Weston Davis of Arvada, Colorado; daughter, Leah Rogers of Denton; and her three grandchildren, Taylor, Finlee and Price.
A memorial service was held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Denton on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association Greater Dallas Chapter, 4144, N. Central Expwy., Ste. 750, Dallas, Texas 75204.
