"If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever."Calvin Kyle Seidler, born August 7, 1989, in Dallas, TX was involved in a fatal auto accident on December 16, 2010.

Calvin, second of three children born to Dr. Richard and Kimberly Seidler of Frisco, was a junior at Texas Tech University.

Calvin first attended the Prince of Peace School in Plano. He then attended Pioneer Middle School and went on to Frisco High School before graduating from Wakeland High School in 2008.

In his early years, Calvin excelled in swimming but found his true passion was football. He went on to Evangel University in Missouri, where he was awarded a football scholarship. After an injury, he transferred to the University of North Texas so he could attend school with his sister.

His many friends and team members describe him as having a gentle and quiet spirit with a magnetic personality that drew those around him toward his enthusiastic enjoyment of life. He had the unique ability to make everyone around him feel special. Calvin touched many lives with his warm smile and his eagerness to always lend a hand.

Calvin is survived by his beloved parents, Dr. Richard and Kim Seidler of Frisco, TX; sisters Jaclyn and Lexie; paternal grandparents Al and Rita Seidler of Richardson, TX; maternal grandparents Richard and Shelba Brown of Dallas, TX; aunts and uncles: Tracy Graul; John Graul; Randy Brown; Beth Brown; Joe and Stephanie Thompson; Dr. Kurt and Sheri Seidler; Dr. Daryl and Judy Seidler; Dr. Steve and Debbie Seidler; Dr. Kevin and Patty Seidler; and numerous cousins.

Visitation was held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2010, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, TX. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Gateway Church in Frisco, TX. A graveside service immediately followed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Calvin Seidler Memorial Fund, 1st National Bank Southwest, Attn: Tellers, 4500 Preston Road, Frisco TX 75034, 469-633-8400.
