Herbert Gale French passed away in his sleep on October 28th, 2010 at the Denton Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. He was 92 years of age, born August 8, 1918 in Waterloo, Iowa. Herb was in the Navy during WWII. After the war, he was a Los Angeles fire fighter for 32 years before retiring. He was married to Della French and had two sons: Ron French of Denton, Texas, and Dennis French who passed away in 1995. He had 6 grandchildren Robert, Denise, Kelly, Michelle, Michael, and Niki, and 7 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank all of Herb's friends and supportive nursing care at the Nursing Center; especially Kate who will be remembered always. "Father, Model, and later Best Friend."
