Mr. Saul was a retired farmer and retired from International Shoe Factory in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Ava.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Evelyn Davis of Makanda, Debbie Barber of High Ridge, Missouri, and Anita Hewerdine of Ava; and sisters, Ina Easton of Ava, Iva Morgan of Chester and Vergie Miller of Chester.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
