ANNIE MAE WHEELER KING was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas, in 1920 to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie and Mrs. Rosie Lee Craig-Wheeler.
She attended Blanton High School in Wolf City, Texas.
She united with the Mitchell Street Church of God in Christ under the pastoral leadership of the Rev. E. L. Battles and was a faithful member in time.
She is survived by a daughter, Fannie L. Jones-Barber; a sister, Clarine Wheeler Maynard and two half brothers, Charlene Wheeler (Mae Ruth) of Gilmer, Texas and George (GQ) Wheeler (Emma Pearl) of Dallas, Texas.
Services were rendered by the Cedar Crest Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 6, 1981 at 12 noon at the Mitchell Street Church of God in Christ in Dallas, Texas. Services were officiated by the Rev. E. L. Battles, Pastor.
