Francis M. Morgan, 84, Duncansville, died Mon., Dec. 27, 2010 at home. He was born in Newport, RI to Manuel & Mary (Moitoza) Morgan. After his mother's death, he was raised by his father & stepmother, Julia. He married Betty V. Ritchey at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Newry. Survived by wife of 64 years; daughter, Karen M. McCauley & husband, David, of Fredericksburg, VA; sons: Dennis F. & wife, Michelle, of Fredericksburg, VA; Thomas R., of Stafford, VA and David B., of Hollidaysburg; 7 grandchildren; 6 gr. grandchildren; sisters: Dorothy Ramsdell, in Florida and Marjorie Perry, of Newport, RI; and brothers: George Morgan, in Florida; and Robert and Donald Morgan, both in Maryland. Predeceased by brother, Bill Lopes; and 3 grandchildren. U.S. Navy, WW II veteran, serving on the USS Tanager. He retired from Allegheny Supply, Duncansville as a warehouse foreman. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Duncansville, and a life member of Duncansville VFW. Friends will be received from 1 until the 3 p.m. funeral service with military rites, Weds., Dec. 29, 2010, at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. Committal, will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Blue Knob.
