Born April 7, 1918 in Roanoke, Mr. House was the son of the late Jane McKay House and Ralph E. House. He loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. Mr. House enjoyed spending time with his family, collecting antique cars, woodworking, and he always wanted to be helpful to others. He was a veteran of World War II and was the owner of the House Plumbing Company. Mr. House was a blessing to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Claire House, his grandson, Josh House and his brother, Ralph House Jr.

MR. HOUSE

LANETT -- Mr. Charlie F. House, 86, of Lanett died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005 at his residence.

Memorial graveside services are scheduled Saturday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. at Shawmut Cemetery with the Revs. Albert Thornton and Jim Luttrell officiating.

Mr. House is survived by five children, Charlie House Jr. of Lick Skillet, Ga. Bud House of Valley, Bobby House of Lanett, Becky (Eddie) Tolar of Dothan, Ala. and Lucy (Ben) Simmons of Fredonia; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Jan House Anderson.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
