MANTEO - Almira Quidley Twiford, 80, of Norfolk, VA, died Friday night, July 16, 1982 at Leigh Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Manteo, the daughter of the late Leonard and Susan Hooper Quidley and the widow of the late Henry Hudson Twiford.
She was a member of the Squires Neniruak Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
She is survived by two sons: Ralph and Robert Twiford; a sister, Mrs. Mary Midgett of Manteo; seven grandchild and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Twiford's Colony Chapel in Manteo, burial in the Manteo Cemetery.
