Eva Denson was the daughter and one of twelve children born to Ira Beamer and Lila (Baughfman) King. She married Troy Palmon Ellis (born 8 May 1907 - died 22 September 1938) in Arkansas on 16 March 1926. There were three children born to this union: Erma Dean (Parris) Parnell (born 16 April 1927), Ruth Imogene Wilkins (born 13 September 1931), and James Melvin Ellis (born 12 January 1934). After her first husband died, she married Seaborn Ivy Denson in Nettleton AR on 8 January 1944 and relocated to Winston County AL. She had a son, Shearl Ivey (Sherrel Ivy) Denson (born 30 May 1945 - died 9 March 2006) from her marriage with Seaborn Denson. She and Seaborn lived on a small farm on the Nesmith-Helicon Road where they raised cotton. Seaborn was also a Church of God minister and pastored several churches in Winston County AL. After Seaborn died 12 May 1964 in Heilcon AL, she eventually sold their property and moved to Addison AL in Winston County. She was 99 years old when she died of heart failure at her apartment after a short illness. Her son, Shearl, is also buried at the Addison Church of God Cemetery.
