Viola M. Ziola, 78, of Wedgewood, died Monday, Aug. 7, 1989 Wedgewood. Services will be Saturday at 10 A.M. from the chapel of Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home. The Rev. Roland Going will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery at Hastings.

Visitation will be Friday from 3-9 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to donor's choice.

Mrs. Ziola was born May 22, 1911 at Oak to Orlando and Druzzilla Campbell Crandell. She received her education at Oak and graduated from Nelson High School in 1929. She moved to Hastings and was employed with Swift's for 18 years.

She married Henry Prawl in 1932 at Hastings. They made their home at Hastings and she was employed with Emil Feed and Seed and also the Hastings Regional Center. Mr. Prawl died in 1953.

She married Sylvester Ziola in 1961 at Loup City. They made their home in Hastings where she continued to work at the Hastings Regional Center until her retirement in 1976. The couple moved to Grand Island in 1978. Mr. Ziola died in 1985

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Beverly) Eastman of Grand Island; one son, Garold Prawl of Bridgeport, NY: nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three sons, and 11 brothers and sisters.
