Olympic athlete. Peter Donlon was a gold medalist at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. He was the stroke of the rowing crew from the U.S. team. He coached the 1932 Olympic rowing team and was also on the famous swimming and diving team at the Belmont School for Boys. His family were prominent farmers in Ventura County.
