After her husband George's death in 1914, Esther lived with her daughter "Mollie" and son-in-law Jack Feimster Morrison until her death on 22 February 1934.
Esther (Skinner) Prewitt Clayton is buried in the Morrison Family Plot at Abilene Municipal Cemetery, along side her husband.
