She was confirmed under the Solemn Rite of Confirmation at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church of Montpelier on the 18th day of April 1943.
She married Gerald R. Quistorff according to the Ordinance of God and the Laws of Wisconsin at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church of Montpelier on the 27th day of January 1951. Due to the illness of Pastor J.H. Nau, the service was conducted by Pastor Waldemar Zink of Kewaunee.
Ruth worked for most of her adult life in the medical community. First, three years as stenographer at Wood Steel Products, six years for Dr. L.D. Quigley of Green Bay, 15 years at the Luxemburg Medical Clinic for Dr. Majeski and Dr. Rahr, eight years at Parkview Manor Nursing Home and five years at St. Vincent Hospital.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Gerald; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bruce and Peggy Quistorff of Luxemburg, and Brian Quistorff of Green Bay; two grandchildren, Jessica and Lana Quistorff of Green Bay; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Orville and Althea Krueger of Phoenix, and Rita Quistorff of Kewaunee.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elsie Krueger; father and mother-in-law, Victor and Regina Quistorff; and one brother-in-law, Donald Quistorff.
Friends called at Mcmahon Funeral Home, Luxemburg, from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 14. Prayer service was held 7:30 p.m. Visitation continued Tuesday, May 15, after 10 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Rankin, until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Rite of Christian burial followed immediately after the service with burial at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Luxemburg. The Rev. John Neugebauer officiated at the committal service.
