Geraldine Faver Tooke, 78, of Pine Bluff, died October 16, 1997, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

She was born at Woodlawn on May 22, 1919, a daughter of the late Garland and Jimmie Coats Faver. She was raised and received her early education at Woodlawn. She moved to the Pine Bluff area in 1941. She was a member of Central Baptist Church at Pine Bluff, where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She was a member of Cotton Pickers Camp. She enjoyed needlepoint and camping, according to her family.

Survivors include her husband, Buck Tooke, whom she married at Rowell on May 23, 1936; three sons, Clyde Edward Tooke, Jerry Tooke and Ray Tooke, all of Pine Bluff; three brothers, John A. Faver of Little Rock, A.L. Faver of Pine Bluff and Bill Faver of Festus, Missouri; six grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. Gary Akers officiating. Burial will be in Prosperity Cemetery.
