Sarah Leona Lambert Brinson, 76, a nurses' aide at Georgetown Memorial Hospital for 19 years, died Sunday in a Charleston hospital. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today in Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by Mayer's Georgetown Chapel, will be in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Brinson was born in Raleigh, N.C. (?), a daughter of William Lambert and Doolie Lambert Lambert. She grew up in Jamestown and had lived in Georgetown for the last 56 years. She was a member of Maryville Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her husband, Arnie Elgin Brinson; a son, Arnie Lavern Brinson of Charleston; three daughters, Mary Sue B. Barringer of Georgetown, Sarah Geraldine B. Tolar of Goose Creek and Delores B. Novy of Charleston; four brothers, Solon Lambert and Arthur Lambert, both of Georgetown, Andrew Lambert of Jamestown and Leroy "Jack" Lambert of Shulerville; a sister, Eula Lee L. Ackerman of Shulerville; two half brothers, Gene Britt and Glen Britt; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
