Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, April 25, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City with Pastor Wayne Clement officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m., Friday, April 24, at the funeral home.
Ronny was born November 1, 1983 in Texas City. He attended Texas City schools, was manager at Dependable Autos, a family owned car business, and did construction work in the petro/chemical industry.
Some of Ronny's favorite things were family vacations, camping, barbeque cookouts, hunting, fishing, decking out cars to max, and hanging out with his little brother Billy (who was also his best friend). Ronny also loved hanging out with his friends, of which he had many.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Archie "Texas" Rife, grandmother Mary Lou Henry, cousins Randall Lynn Rife, Justin Michael Preston, and Kevin Claunch.
Survivors include his parents Ronald Sr. and LaNette LaFoy Rife of Texas City; his companion Jordana Devona; brother Billy Jack Rife; aunts and uncles: Robert and Bonnie Claunch, August and Martha LaFoy, Randall and Jackie Rife, Kathy and Tony Hampton, and Jack LaFoy; cousins: Rob Claunch, Jr., August and Christine LaFoy, Jay, Jordan, and Jonathan Rife, and Eric, Keith, and Kevin Patterson; his close friend Roy Sendejas and many other friends.
