Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at 3 p.m. at the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Smith was born May 6, 1961, in Georgetown County, a daughter of Gene Edward Howard and Mary Sue Brinson H. Barringer.
She was educated in Georgetown County schools and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was predeceased by her father, Gene Edward Howard and her stepfather, James Morrison Barringer.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Lynwood "Tommy" Smith of Georgetown; her mother of Georgetown; one brother, Timothy Gene Howard of Georgetown; two sisters, Tena LaJean H. Wilder of Georgetown and Kay H. Newman of Charleston.
