Curtis, Leander S.,Ingham County. Enlisted in compnay B., Second Cavalry, Sept. 9, 1861, at Dansville, for 3 years, age 25. Mustered Oct. 2, 1861. Discharged at St Louis, MO., July 8, 1862. He did survive the war. (Mustered out of military, likely due to disease or wounds that proved fatal)
