He served in the Air Force during World War II. Anthony was a barber and operated a barber shop in Narragansett for a number of years. He was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol and LaSalle University in Chicago. A communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol, he was a member and past commander of the Karney Post 6, American Legion, Bristol.
He is survived by a sister, Lucy Sanacore of Lake Worth, Fla.; and two brothers, Dr. Frank G. DeLuca, MD of Barrington, and Dr. Carl F. DeLuca, MD of Naples, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Terranova Romano, and Elizabeth Franciosi; and three brothers, Dr. Joseph DeLuca, MD, Ralph DeLuca, Esq., and Jerry E. DeLuca.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Kindly omit flowers.
