This stone is particularly interesting in that the spacing, punctuation, words split in strange places, and the awkward wording etc., suggest that this was a home made stone. Other stones in the same cemetery from this era, prove that there were professional monument makers around.
Gravesite Details
Stone is in good condition for its age but is becoming illegible due to growth of lichens. There is another photo from 1991 in the Nova Scotia Archives & Records Management.
