Born in New York, N.Y., Frances was the daughter of the late Eric J. and Sara (Yankech) Fafejta.
Frances was a parishioner of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.
In addition to her husband, Gene, Frances is survived by her three daughters: Ann F. Weinbel, Reading; Carolyn A. Emes, Shillington; and Doreen T. Weinbel, Shillington; and two stepdaughters, Kim M., wife of Mario Scaffidi, Mohrsville; and Amy T. (Hracho), wife of James Obritz, Exeter Township; and stepson, Eugene E. Hracho Jr., Leesport.
Other survivors include eight grandchildren: Mario Scaffidi, Aidan Obritz, Sarah Scaffidi, Linsey Emes, Samantha Scaffidi, Emily Hracho, Madison Obritz and Anna Hracho; brother, Eric J. Fafejta Jr.; sister, Margaret, wife of Ralph Casselli, both of Venice Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Being mindful of Frances' wishes, there will be no viewing. Relatives and friends are invited to participate in a celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at Gethsemane Cemetery, Chapel of the Resurrection, on Monday, Jan. 3, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow. Floral arrangements will only be placed at the graveside.
