Harriett C. Hunnell, 77, of Englewood, Ohio, formerly of Kirby, died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, December 11, 1988, in the Englewood Manor Nursing Home following a long illness.

She was born October 7, 1911, in Kirby, a daughter of William and Mae Cooley Neal.

Mrs. Hunnell was a member of the Kirby United Methodist Church.

She was a housewife.

Her husband, Charles F. Hunnell, died in 1956.

Surviving are one son, Charles Hunnell Jr. of Englewood, Ohio; one granddaughter, Charla Clapp; one great-granddaughter, Ashley Clapp; four sisters, Florence Efaw and Rae Enstrom, both of Rices Landing, Betty Smith of Palmdale, Calif., and Viola Hoffmeister of Gaston, Ala., and one brother, Floyd Neal of Tucson, Ariz.
