Kathryn Violet Livingston was the daughter of Perry Eddie Livingston and Sylvia Annis (Stiles) Livingston. Kathryn had the following siblings:

Kathryn died in the Laughlin Hospital in Kirksville, Missouri, at the age of 10, nine days after an appendectomy for a ruptured appendix from which she developed peritonitis and toxemia. The family lived in Novinger, Adair County, Missouri at the time.
