(Pioneer Press) A Presbyterian minister who served parishes in the Twin Cities and Hinckley, Minn. as well as in WI, N.D., New Mexico and New York State, passed away on Nov. 9. Born in St. Louis, he was raised in Scarsdale, N.Y. and graduated from Yale Univ. after serving three years in the United States Navy during World War II. He received a M.Div. degree from Fuller Th. Sem., a second Masters from Biblical Seminary in New York City and a D.Min. from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Beside his pastoral duties, he taught biblical studies at Bethel College, Eastern New Mexico Univ., the Center for Urban Ministerial Education and Whitworth College. In his retirement he organized the Cape Cod Institute of Christian Studies, a training program to prepare laity for Christian leadership. He was a gifted artist and harmonica player. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Clark Kroeger and five children and spouses and 10 grandchildren.
