Known as JP.He knew Zola Mirea Wallis in Mississippi.He rode a train to Texas and asked the people at the train station if the place was Kaufman.They married at Lone Star community where her family lived.He came to Texas in 1922.He was a farmer,raised cotton,and cattle for most of his life in Kemp Texas.
JP had 5 children-Homer,Joyce,LD,Vivian,and Lillian Mirea(passed away about 5 months old) 10 grandchildren,and some where around 15 great grand children(not for sure)
After my grandmother passed away my grandfather married Carrie(Blue)Grissom.The marriage did not last long.After,he married Bessie(Guyness)Compton Grissom 1973 memorial # 105574991.Lived in Forney Texas until his death.
