He was employed for 10 years at American Sterilizer Co. and was a member of UAW Local 832. He served with the U.S. Army as a surgical technician during World War II. He enjoyed fishing and fished commercially.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Brozell Skinner, in 1990; a sister, Nora Klozewski; and a brother, Fred Skinner.
Survivors include a son, Bill Skinner of Erie; two daughters, Barbara Ellen Kellermueller of Pomona, N.Y., and Sandra Richman of Flushing, N.Y.; three sisters, Lillian Tupitza, Esther Mariella and Hazel Peterson and her husband, Robert, all of Erie; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
