Northport, Ala. - Ethel Harris, 89, Northport, Ala., formerly of Bedford, died Friday in Northport.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of Eli and Ellen (Somerville) Pattison. She married Carl Harris in 1936, and he preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Bedford.

Surviving are one son, Carl Harris of Northport, Ala.; two brothers: William Pattison of Indianapolis and Harry Pattison of Noblesville; two sisters: Edith Baker and Helen Beretta, both of Bedford, and one granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John David Pattison, and one sister, Emma Gennett.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church, Bedford, with the Rev. Ron Sacco officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.
