Mrs. Ida May Harrod
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida May Harrod, 83, widow of Henry Clay Harrod, who died yesterday, will be held at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Dr. Jesse Herrmann, pastor of Second Presbyterian church, will officiate and burial will be at Monterey, Ky.
Mrs. Harrod died at 3 a.m. yesterday at the home of a daughter, Miss Elizabeth Harrod, 807 Sunset drive, after an illness of nine months. She was a native of Henry county, a daughter of the late James and Lucy Rupe Hieatt, and was a member of the Swallowfield Baptist church.
Mrs. Harrod is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. F. Smither, Frankfort; Miss Lillian Harrod and Miss Elizabeth Harrod, both of Lexington; two sons, Louis Harrod, New Castle, Ky., and Robert Harrod, Pittsburgh, Pa.; six grandchildren and two gret-grandchildren.
