NOBLE G. AURAND DIES SATURDAY
Noble G. Aurand, 53, died Saturday night at 8 o'clock at his home, 553 Columbus avenue. The deceased had lived in this city for six years, coming here from Battle Creek. He was a pattern maker at the St. Joseph Iron Works for about two years. The late Mr. Aurand was a member of the Salvation Army. He was assistant Young People's Sergeant Major here, and was the official drummer. Funeral services are to be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Citadel where Adjt. Sidney Hutchings will officiate. The remains will be sent to Marshall for burial. Adjt. John Rowland will conduct services at the grave. Surviving the deceased are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Aurand, Coldwater; the widow, Ella; two daughters, Virginia and Dorothea; two sons, Peter and Verie, at home, and four sisters.
