Lofgren, secretary and treasurer of the Butte County Rice Growers Assn., of Richvale, was notified this morning of the death of his wife last night in a Stockton sanitarium.
Mrs. Lofgren has been ill for the past four months.
Funeral arrangements were being made today, and services will probably be held from Chico.
Survivors are, besides the widower, five children, Maurice, Floyd, Sidney, Jerome and Annette Lofgren.

44-year-old Ada Lillian Lofgren was interred, per the Chico Cemetery Association Records, in the plot noted, on November 5, 1929.
