Billie Roseann Walker Adams, 75, of Dresden, formerly of the Terrell community in Weakley County, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010 at Henry County Healthcare Center of Paris after a long illness.

Funeral services for Ms. Adams were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 26 at Bowlin Funeral Home in Dresden. Rev. Mark Earheart officiated the service.

Suzanna Dickson, Timothy Dickson, Ray Dickson, Shawn Woodard, Joe Woodard and Blaine Woodard served as pallbearers.

Ms. Adams was a retired customer service manager for Wal-Mart in Martin and also a retired LPN of Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. She was a member of Stanley Chapel Methodist Church near Union City. She was born Sept. 19, 1935 to the late Willie "Bill" Wyatt Walker and Violet Carey Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Carey Walker and by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Adams.

Ms. Adams is survived by two daughterS, Debbie (Terry) Woodard of Dresden, Jan (Ray) Dickson of Gaithersburg, Md.; one son, Henry (Linsey) Adams of Lake Charles, La.; four grandchildren, Shawn Woodard, Suzanna Dickson, Timothy Dickson and Milo Adams.
