Everett F., Sr., DANNER,
88, of Oneida, died July 10, 2001, at the Scott County Hospital following a lingering illness. Born in Ft. Wayne, Ind., November 15, 1912, he was preceded in death by his parents, Hiriam and Martha Tillman Danner; two sisters Berneice Baumgartner and Erma White; one son-in-law, William Marks; daughter-in-law, Alice Danner; and one grandson, Mark Anthony Danner. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville. He was a local businessman for 60 years: lumber, farmer, coal stripping, oil, and organizer of Barna and Danner Log Homes in 1976. He was a member and past president of the Kiwanis Club, and served on the Board of Directors of Scott Farmers Coop, and Scott County Soil Conservation. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Burchfield Danner of Oneida; two sons, Everett Danner, Jr. and wife, Barbara of Winfield, and Lawrence Danner of Woodburn, Ind.; four daughters: Barbara Marks of New Haven, Ind., Bonnie Taylor and husband Ronnie of Hamilton, Ind., Sandra Wellman and husband Ronnie of Cromville, Ind., and Patty Woodruff and husband Neil of Spencerville, Ind.; one sister, Annabelle King and husband Fred of Sharpsville, Ind.; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, special daughter, Barbara Bond of Oneida, great-grandchildren, Christopher and Morgan Danner of Winfield; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted July 12, 2001, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Martha Ann Fairchild and Rev. Jakie Byrd officiating. Music was provided by Bert Walker and Carol Reed. Graveside service was conducted July 13 in Carson Memorial Park.
