Norma Hale Adams, age 76, passed away on June 3, 2000 at a local care center after years of battling with pulmonary lung disease. She died quietly in her sleep Saturday morning.
Born Aug. 24, 1923 in Logan, UT to Maylon A. and Bertha Bollsechweiler Hale.
Married Robert E. Adams in 1947, later divorced. Employed at JC Penney West-ern Accounting and later the VA Hospital, then retired. Member of the LDS Church. "Nana" had a heart of gold. She always cared for everyone else's well being before her own. She would do anything for the people she loved most. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Survived by brother, Jack W. (Jean) Hale, Brea, CA; sister, Janet H. (William) Smith, Taylorsville, UT; nephews, Raymond A. Smith, Jon A. Hale, Jamison L. Hale, Jerry L. Hale; five great-nieces and one great-nephew, Jessica L. Smith, Rebecca A. Smith, Laura J. Smith, Amanda Hale, Shelby Hale and Garret W. Hale. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Veloy Brannan, brother Gerald Lynn Hale.
Graveside service Tuesday, 12 noon at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S. Friends may call Tuesday from 10-11:45 a.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S. State St.
