Thomas Beauford Brock, 53, of 1831 Elliot Farm Road, Fayetteville, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, in Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Brock was retired from the civil service at Fort Bragg. His favorite hobby was to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.

Mr. Brock is survived by his wife, Christi Lou Heffernan Brock of the home; mother and stepfather, Lettie H. and Walter DeMetro of Fayetteville; brothers, David Michael Brock of Summerville, S.C., Jeffrey Brock of Atlanta, Henry Brock of Linden, W. James DeMetro of Alva, Fla., and Jerry DeMetro of Amelia, Ohio; and sister, Brenda Gibson of Linden.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association, 2711 Breezewood Ave., Suite A, Fayetteville, NC 28303.

Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
