Carol was born to Lester Eugene Burgin and Lavaun Haueter Burgin of Centerville, Utah, November 24, 1937.
After her graduation from Davis High School in 1956, Carol married Wayne Henry Oleson of West Point, Utah on June 8, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Carol has lived in Utah, Missouri, Nevada, and North Carolina while Wayne was in the military and in school, finally settling in Roanoke, Virginia. She and Wayne moved back to Centerville, Utah in 1996, where they now reside. Carol served in the LDS Church in many ward and stake callings.
Carol is survived by her husband Wayne; daughters, Michele and Suzanne; son, Phillip; brothers, Richard and Dennis Burgin; and grandson, William Marston.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011 in the LDS Chapel, 160 South 200 East, Centerville. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, and Friday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Church prior to the services.
Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
