Funeral services were held yesterday morning for Frank J. Mueller, 222 West Allen Street, who died Thursday afternoon at St. John's hospital. Services were held at 9:30 o'clock at his residence and at 10 o'clock at St. Agnes church. Rev. William M. Costello officiated. Interment was made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
Mr. Mueller died after a year's illness. He resided in Springfield throughout his life and engaged in the rug, linoleum and carpet business. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Pallbearers were Leo Stengel of Decatur, Joe Ishmael, George White, Lawrence Kieley, Earl Curry, Homer Marsh, Herbert Cantrill and Joe Keiley of Springfield.
Surviving Mr. Mueller are his wife, Marie; two daughters, Mrs. Robert McHugh of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Miss Johnette Mueller of this city; three brothers, Erhardt and John of Springfield, and Charles of Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Raupt and Miss Rose Mueller, both of Decatur.
