Mrs. Ida Eleanor Haines Orndoff, 74, of New Freeport, wife of J. M. Orndoff, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 1951, in the Curry Memorial Home following a lingering illness.

A daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Taylor Haines, Mrs. Orndoff was born Feb. 25, 1877 at Garards Fort. She resided most of her life in New Freeport and was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Oran Orndoff of New Martinsville, W. Va., and four sisters, Mrs. Garfield (Alice) Fordyce of New Salem, Mrs. Roy (Eva) Strosnider of Waynesburg, Mrs. Joseph (Lona) Brown of Amity and Mrs. Floyd (Mary) Lemley of Waynesburg.

Two sons and three brothers preceded her in death.
