Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church in Borger with the Rev. Troy Scroggins, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Widener was born June 5, 1917, in Goodnight to Joseph and Mary Landers Hutson. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Borger, Ladies Aid Society, Altar Guild, and was a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include four daughters, Diane Scroggins of Borger, Lila Richards of Dallas, Celia Connelly of Amarillo and Shari Jones of St. Lewis, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Trinity Lutheran Church, 212 W. Jefferson St., Borger, TX 79007.
