H Lee Eckenrode, thirty-nine, died Friday at 10:30 pm in the Heisey Nursing Home after an illness of two years. He had resided at 5068 McKean Avenue, Philadelphia.
Born in White Plains, NY, he was a son of Helen Gurrier Eckenrode and the late T Boyd Eckenrode. He was employed as an engineer in the Philadelphia area prior to his illness.
He was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Hubley Eckenrode of Philadelphia; his mother, of Lancaster; and the following brothers and sisters: Mary Lee, wife of John R Geiter; Anna Boyd, wife of E H Schweitzer, Lancaster; Thomas B, Lancaster; M-Sgt Harold J, Paris, France; William R, Lancaster; and James H, Millerville.
