My cousin, Judy, was recovering from heart surgery at Rockford Hospital for the past month when complications set in and her system started shutting down. Her soul took her from us at 11:30 a.m. on January 7th, 2011.
She leaves to morn her three sons, John, Jeff and David Jr. and their families.
The Turner Funeral Home in Plano, IL is handling arrangements.

Judith R. Hackerson, 69, of Shabbona, formerly of Aurora, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011 at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford. She was born May 2, 1941 in Aurora, the daughter of Carlton and Minnie (Seidelman) Reynolds.
She was married to David Hackerson. She was an avid NASCAR and Cubs fan. She was formerly employed by Western Electric and Strathmore Paper Co. in Aurora, the Daily Chronicle in DeKalb as a route driver and later at the Aurora Beacon News as a route driver. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Aurora.
She is survived by three sons, Jeff (Sara) Stamper of Plano, John Stamper of Shabbona and David (Monica Childs) Hackerson of Aurora; eight grandchildren; Jennifer, Shannon, Samantha, Chrissy, Mark, Matt, Dawn and Camren; eight great grandchildren and her uncle, Harold Seidelmann of Aurora.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, David.
