Obituary of Zelma M. Sloniger nee Mack

Passed peacefully on September 28, 2007. Zelma was born March 30th, 1917 to Constance & Lily Mack in New Orleans.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Justy Sloniger, daughter, Donna Nichols, son, Robert Sloniger and her parents.

Zelma is survived by her son, Gary Wimsett, 2 daughters; Norma Jean Campbell and Carole Lynch, 11 grand children, 4 great grand children and her sister, Lillian Mitchell.

In addition to the love for her husband, Zelma had a passion for her family and a special kindness for the many dogs she had over the course of her life. Her family sends thanks to the numerous caregivers at the Homestead of Lakewood and to Odyssey Hospice for their compassion and loving care during her illness.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Crown Hill, 29th & Wadsworth on Thursday, 3:00 P.M. at the Tower of Memories chapel.
