She was a senior at Southside High School who was planning to attend Guilford Community College. She was survived by her parents, Tim and Tracy O'Carroll and Timothy Edwards; two sisters, Heather Edwards and Catherine O'Carroll; heer grandparents, Lou Ellen Edwards and Ed Paul and Charlie and Faye Edwards. Her graveside funeral was held on Janaury 8, 2011, with The Rev. Danny Barrow officiating.
