Born in Moorefield, July 30, 1916, he was the son of the late Walter and Ida Reel Pratt.
Mr. Pratt had moved to Linville 21 years ago.
Pratt, a World War II veteran, worked for Central Security Guard Agency and was a member of the Singers Glen Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Virginia (David) Pratt; a daughter, Linda Nesselrodt, Harrisonburg, Va.; three sons, Richard Pratt, Bridgewater, Va., Howard Pratt, Linville, Va., and Robert Pratt, Broadway, Va.; four sisters, Edith Woerner, Elsie Bosley and Lila Hines, all of Moorefield, and Ollie Smith, Romney; three brothers, Delmas Pratt, Broadway, Va., Harry Pratt, Blue Grass, and Jesse Pratt, Old Fields; six half-sisters, Pat White, Mariam Anderson, Dorothy Lipscomb, Beatrice Johnson, June Hartman all of West Virginia; four half- brothers, Roger and Alvin Pratt, both of Broadway, Va., and Bill and Scott Pratt, both of West Virginia; and 14 grandchildren.
The funeral was conducted Wednesday at Singers Glen Baptist by the Revs. Clarence Byerly and Clarence Davis. Burial was in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens at Harrisonburg, Va.
The arrangements were under the direction of the McMullen (Harrisonburg) Funeral Home.
