Enrique (Hank) Aguirre, 62, of Cheyenne, Wyo., passed away at home on November 22, 2010. Hank was born in Fort Collins, Colo. on August 19, 1948 to Frank and Beatrice Aguirre. He Grew up in the Timnath area and attended schools in Timnath and Fort Collins. After serving in the United States Marines, he returned to the Fort Collins area where he made his living as a cross country trucker. Hank spent a lot of time in the Veterans Hospital in Cheyenne, Wyo. over the past 5 years as he courageously battled the cancer that eventually claimed his life. He was interred at Fort Logan Cemetery in Lakewood, Colo.
Hank is survived by a daughter, Lisa Grummon White of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Lupe Virgin of Waco, Texas and Beatrice Lucero of Fort Collins, Colo.; five brothers, Frank Aguirre of Fort Collins, Colo.; Fred Aguirre of Las Vegas, Nev.; Augustine Aguirre of Los Angeles, Calif.; Jess Aguirre of San Francisco, Calif.; Armando Aguirre of Los Angeles, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
