Margaret Katherine Dudley, 85, died Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska. Margaret was born January 11, 1922 in Cheney, Kansas to Dr. Robert & Theodosia Ermon Sloan Koger.

Margaret graduated from Cheney High School and earned her Bachelors Degree from Friends University and her Masters from Emporia State College. She married Phillip L. Dudley Sr. on December 29, 1945 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2004. She taught high school in Kingman, Kansas, Goddard, Kansas and Garden Plain, Kansas. Mrs. Dudley taught at Kansas Newman College and was a faculty member in the English and Theater Departments at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas for more than twenty years until her retirement in 1987. She was active in Eastern Star, Theater, the Mentor United Methodist Church in Mentor, Kansas and several educational organizations.

Mrs. Dudley was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Paul, Kendrick and Robert.

Survivors include:
Son & Daughter-in-law: Phillip, Jr. & Donna Dudley – Hastings, NE.
Grandsons: Phil, III, Peter, and Paul
Brother & Sister-in-law: John & Thurza Koger – Topeka, KS.
